The thing is, after i began to investigate i learned that there are two endings, one "bad" ending where Bowman kills El Sueño and one "good" ending where Bowman doesn't kill El Sueño. Start 2nd part again and it has alternative ending, the alternative is in the cut scenes. I think both OP's issue and yours... and mine, is that the way this game works, you get one ending when you kill all Buchon's, and the alternate when you kill all of them.
