WebBut sketchup doesn't like to draw filled rectangles through objects sometimes. My workaround is to draw a big rectangle outside, group it, cut/paste it inside the model's group and position/rotate it before ungrouping and running the intersect command. I do this a lot for 3d printing because my stuff is rarely flat-sided.
