Family & Children’s Service (F&CS) serves all people in crisis and transition by meeting them where they are, understanding their needs, and connecting them to the resources they need. F&CS often ‘fills in the gaps’ in social services, creating a safety net to ensure that all children and families can be safe and healthy. WebThe requirement to review the adequacy of child care and family support services is established under Section 8 of the Child Care Act, 1991. This statutory review process underlines the importance placed by Irish society on the welfare of children. There were a number of significant developments in Children and Family Services in the HSE in 2009
