WebOct 23, 2013 · Have a 1931 built-in bathroom medicine cabinet with the original mirrored glass front. The mirror has beautiful etching but needs to be re-silvered, so I've removed the mirror and sent it off for re-silvering. The area the mirror is mounted to has a few areas of rust (see pic); the parts of the mirror directly over those rust areas are stained.
