Head design, valve count and design, VCT, header design and firing order all influence the frequency content going into the exhaust system. WebFeb 12, 2024 · My catless headers on my first gen on stock exhaust wasn't very loud. It did have a mildly annoying resonance where the valve timing changed at around 4500 rpm. I don't remember any of the catted headers making near 190whp. Maybe I am remembering this wrong though .
